AAANNND we’re back in more ways than one, hey.

New comics and the site is back up. Albiet a bit clunky for now. Forgive the messy layout kiddies Its temporary while i try to get everything back up and running.

New pages and finally a few lovely things revealed about Fox, okay one thing revealed about fox. Updates will still be spotty for a while though guys I have one more issue to update to color and mostly redraw.

I’ve always liked the idea of Hart-deer, thier deep red fur is really appealing and I just love how thier colours are. I originally wanted to make Bethy a Deer as I may have mentioned before. Instead I decided best to use the animal for Daphne Hawthorne.

I won’t lie. Daphne is another one of those characters that was based off of someone in the Devia forums. WAS being the key word. She actually owes little of her current design to that person and instead I chose to simply base her visually off of one of my favorite villians from the Phoenix Wright games. In this case. Daliah Hawthorne. As for personality, no she isn’t a villian, but I’ll leave my readers to decide for now how they feel about her.

Vyse has always been what I’d call “unconventional” as a leader. I mostly like that he seems to have a smile on his face unless its truely a serious situation like the ambassador scenario. I loved the middle panel with the stars, and moon and lighting. I’ll probably work back into it for print (along with that wall) but I’ve kept you people waiting too damn long for this so I figured I’d just post it. Regularish updates are resuming now, sorry for the long wait but i think i’ve finally settled into a scedule between revisals that will work

Wow! its been awhile but I have once again updated! Updates will be touch and go for a little while while I revise and recolour (in vibrant technicolour!) all the previous black and white pages. I will be updating them inbetween the more sporadic new comic updates to give you guys something to chew on while I continue to labour over this project.

I hate to admit this almost makes ONE of the commissions I did at a convention canon. Almost. I stress and stress and stress ALMOST. The commissioner knows what I’m talking about, you know who you are and keep quiet! Hahahah. Few clues here once again, If the bonus pages didn’t give you enough of that. The original sketch drawing gave away a lot more visually, but I like this better with the unsettled Vyse instead of surprised Vyse. I hope this still keeps my comic PG/PG13… I’m kinda… under contract now to do so but that won’t really affect the story or visuals too awfully much, it will just make it a bit more savvy.

Seems Fox and I both, haha how appropriate! Devia is updating again! with a tentative, once-a-week, or once a fortnight schedule, depending on time allowances. Sorry there’s not a lot of meat to chew on with this page, next one is much better! Hopefully I’ll have it up on time. Look for updated on Friday or Sunday. (More likely Sunday.)

It appealed to me greatly that with Vyse being unconventional he would in turn leave a note in an unconventional spot, but also a rather unavoidable one.

Also! so so SO sorry for being MIA I developed a bad eye infection that’s just now being taken care of to the point of improvement. My cat scratched the lower white of my eye while I was sleeping which resulted in infection AND catscratch fever but at least you know there was a viable reason for why the comic was so terribly terribly late.

EDIT:  Some things have come up (again) life wise and I wont be able to finish until this coming Friday. Sorry for the long wait but I’m going back and redrawing/colouring all the old pages in preparation for potential mainstream publication so please bear with me.

In case you were wondering what the bongs were for, basically pealing out an early hour for miss Fox Tiberon to get her saucy tail out of bed.

AAANND we’re back! welcome to DEVIA in technicolour! heheheh. No this is not a one time deal, from now on Devia will be in colour. I was getting rather tired of trying to decide what shade of grey and there are only SO MANY SHADES of grey…. sooo yeah Colour from now on, view the last 80 pages as a type of prolouge. I also hope you enjoyed the ten bonus pages, if you missed any just click back to read them, they’ll be “fixed” as i find time, i keep forgetting to give Sagitar her “face-stripes”

Also note. She… is….NOT….. a Rat. She’s a thylacine, tasmanian tiger, marsupial wolf, tasmainain wolf. Or any other name you’d like to call the now hypothetically extinct species. ….. well in reality shes a Tasmanian tiger/bengal tiger mix but thats a story for a later time, artistically it gave me an excuse to give her more stripes.
